Back to the Same Same
Well, we had a lovely visit with Maria's Mom. We went up to Seoul for the second weekend Betty was in town and stayed a this nice traditional Korean bed and breakfast. Well, we didn't get to much of a breakfast, just toast and actually we did not sleep on a bed either, on a mat on the floor, but you get my drift. We stayed in a very artsy district of Seoul, call Inchidong. So the ladies were able to shop until they dropped but I hung in there like a champ. In Inchidong there are a few palaces around from the Choson Dynasty. They were very cool and we went to one that had a secret garden. It was a nice break from the concrete and asphalt. Spring has sprung here and the flowers are a nice change from gray. It was nice to get out of Gwangju for the weekend, but we headed back Monday morning and right into work, not missing a beat. My favorite expression in Korea is Same Same. It works on so many different levels, so watch out I am bringing it back with me. Well better get back to it. Hope you have a wonderful day and don't forget to stop and smell the flowers!

Ethan and Maria, Greetings from Smith's Corner. Jack, Albert(my dad)and L were in Fl for 2+months,(there we don't see much Spring)but it's busting out all over. Even a new spring lamb, and its parents, makes our barn yard come alive.Off to Marcia's Bible study, she is very excited to see you folks.Keep us in your prayers as we do, It's a small world.
