Sorry for the long absence. We have had a very strange and unfortunate past week, Maria being sick with the uncommon cold (because it's way worse than the common) and my wrist thing. Yeah, if you have not heard I pinched a nerve in my arm and it made my wrist go limp. It happened while I was sleeping(isn't that a movie), I woke up and I thought that my hand was asleep, but no it didn't change and still has not. That was 11/25/07 so it as been a little under two weeks. I have been going to physical therapy so I can move it a bit more than when it first happened, but only about a centimeter. The doc said it will take maybe up to two months, but if I keep exercising it that time will diminish. I am hoping for one month but we will see. I got a special nerve examination done that was $150.00, but that same test would have been $2,000.00 in the States. In some ways I am blessed to be here so that I can afford all of the expenses. That has been taking up a lot of our time because I have to go to physical therapy every morning before work.
Maria is feeling much better. She still has this cough that she can't seem to shake. Everything else is good. You know they wouldn't call it "work," if it wasn't work. But the weeks go by pretty fast so that's good. I started writing this last night so this morning I went to a new hospital for physical therapy one that is smaller than the one that I had been going to but closer to the apartment and work. So it makes it easier to get to and from because I had to meet my director and she would take me, now I can go on my own. Maria and I have no plans for the weekend so that should be nice but we talked about going to a bamboo forest. Don't worry we will bring the camera to take plenty of pictures. We will see.
Sports Update: Doesn't it seem like LSU has had ten chances being in the #1 spot this season but I guess they should be playing in the title game. I think that OSU is going to get stomped again like last year. I am excited about UGA playing Hawaii hopefully the dawgs won't give them a 21 point lead before they start playing, like against WV last year or the year before that I can't remember. The Heisman race should be close. I think that Dennis Dixon should have been going and I think that he should of won it, but who am I. I am just some guy in South Korea teaching English. All of the bowl games look good unfortunately I probably won't be able to see any of them but all I want for Christmas is to watch UGA vs. Hawaii. Can you make that happen? Hope all is well, where ever you are. PEACE & LOVE ethan

Ethan and Maria, I know it's been a tough couple of weeks, but keep thinking good thoughts and working your hand as much as you can, and things will start getting better soon. Don't forget to keep eating your kimchi!! We love you! Betty and Robert
I'm predicting 42-36, Dawgs over the Rainbow Warriors. Yeah, high scoring. I don't know where I'll be watching the game, but maybe I can hook you up with a "Skype broadcast". It would be pretty funny from a sports bar.
