Naejangsan National Park

Yesterday we spent a lovely day in Naejangsan National Park. It's only an hour north of here by bus. We took a trail next to a creek until we came to the cable car. We took it far up the mountain, but still had a 45 minute straight up hike to the top. It was a beautiful day, and as always, we were happy to get out in nature! Naejangsan is now one or our top favorite parks. We're thinking about going there for my (Maria's) birthday...(it's never too early to make birthday pkans!) Check out our pictures for a more detailed look at our day!

Great photos, and it looks like you had so much fun in your "Kimmicar." (or whatever it was) Did you have sore quads the next day? You sure gave them a workout on all of those steps!

Hi, I came across your blog as I was searching for info. on Naejangsan.

If possible, I will greatly appreciate if you can enlighten me:

How do you travel to Naejangsan from Seoul, Myeungdong area?
How long do you think is the travel?
Which hotel stay do u recommand?
Is a night stay at Naejangsan sufficient to comb the area?

Thank you in advance =)

Hey Classy,
Yeah we just went there for the day but there were alot of motels and things in the town. From Soeul I would say it is a 3 hour bus ride to Jeong-eup. Then you take a city bus. If you got the lonely planet it is in there. It is a fun time. The cable car is a highlight with a resturant at the top for a great view.
