So we found out on Tuesday that the schools have decided to wait until our visas go through. So that means that we are in Florida for 1-3 weeks and it could even be more. So we are hanging out with Maria's Parents for the mean time and helping them around the house with a few things.
The trip down Interstate 95 was quite exciting, we drove down to Richmond VA on Sunday night and stayed at a luxurious hotel for our first wedding anniversary. It was a Days Inn you all know how luxurious those can be! We had breakfast with Maria's aunt Carol. We ate at International House of Pancakes which was very good. If you go, you should get the southwestern bean omelet it was very tasty and the corn bread pancakes. After that we got back on 95 and we were on the road again. Traffic was moving and we did not hit that much rain which makes drivin a lot nicer because of all of the silly drivers that can't drive in the rain. We hit South of the Boarder and if you have never heard of it, it is the boarder between North and South Carolina. It is a huge tourist trap and it is right off of the interstate. They have a mini golf, arcade (it w
as under construction which was a bummer), a fireworks store, a t-shirt shop, a restaurant, a hotel, and huge sombrero that is the size of a water tower which we took an elevator up into. Let me tell you, I95 looks it's best on the top of that big sombraro in the sky!So it was on the road again and we went through some really cool lightning without much rain which was nice. We arrived at Maria's Parents house around 10:30pm Monday.
Since being here we went up to the farm and I saw one of the biggest bucks I had ever seen before. I did not get an exact number but it had to be a ten to twelve point. Saw eleven gators in one of the ponds, mainly little ones. Had dinner with Susanne, Carrie, and Ben last night. We ate at a pizza place were the pizza slices were the size of your head. Then we went back and watched a movie with Carrie and Ben. Life Aquatic, it was pretty weird but I liked it. Bill Murry is one of the finest and I saw Broken Flowers the other day and that one was weird as well. Today Maria went to the dentist and I waited for two hours in the waiting room, fortunately they had some good magazines. Then we got smoothies at Tropical Smoothie (of course) then played disc golf in the rain. Tom Brown park has a nice course and I am going to be there quite often I have a feeling. Tonight we're helping Red Beard make some of his famous wine. Well that is all so we will keep you blogged on any details. PEACE

Hey Ethan and Maria,
Havah and I made rolled in today at Mom & Dad's this morning and have been reliving memories of fall - complete with a trip to the Hellerick's pumpkin patch where we met up with Amanda, Ferrin, & Ean. They really played hard through the corn stalk tunnel, under the parachute, and in the play area that was full of corn. They each picked out a pumpkin and then we went out for water ice to cool off.
Whenever we would bring up Cole in conversation, Havah would instinctively use the word "FUNNY - COLE's FUNNY" So, we got to see uncle Cole when we got home and Havah and Cole took up the task of setting up the tent for a sleepover that 'Grandma' (Mom) has been greatly anticipating. We will be having Cinncinati Chilli tonight (suprise) and some friends are stopping by for a get together. Hopefully without any unexpected attention to someone's recent birthday, but we'll see. Havah and I will head back north tommorow to Rebecca who I'm sure will be sore from a bussy two days holding up horses - one foot at a time.
Thank you for calling the other night. It was good to hear you even through a million miles worth of wire and satilite transmitions and into our telephone which amplified your voice in such a way for my ear drum vibrate in order to detect in my mind that it was you.
We Love you both very much.
and may God bless you.
Drew on behalf of
Rebecca and Havah
