Hello All! Maria here, sending another update from sunny Florida.
First off, no, we still don't have a departure date or plane ticket...but we do have a bit of hope. Our recruiter contacted us today with the good news that our visas are currently being processed, and should be complete by the end of the week!
In the mean time, Ethan and I are trying to focus on our current situation as a good exercise in living for today, (since we currently have very little concept of what our future will look like). This deceivingly simple concept is very tricky as I find myself anticipating our future in Korea more and more. Any advice, motivation or knock knock jokes pertinent to this topic of "living in the now" would be greatly appreciated.
You might ask, what has our life consisted of for the past week and a half? Here is the short list, (for a more elaborated one, give us a call!): disc golf, farm visits, birthday celebrations (Mine and our wonderful brother-in-law, "Swamp Donkey"), camping at the beach, getting attacked by every type of stinging, biting, and blood sucking insect possible, watching football constantly (Ethan), thinking of alternatives to watching football constantly (Maria), shopping for high tech items such as power converters and computer memory, shopping Goodwill 50% off sales every Monday, eating Mom's delicious Chinese cooking, cleaning out the old bedroom/ripping wallpaper, learning the Korean language, practicing eating Korean food..(Kimchi anyone?), bead necklaces (M), watching all other sports other than football (E), deep theological conversations, assisting with Red Beard with his wine making, applying lots of sunscreen, and overall relaxing with the family. We definitely can't complain!
We'll keep you posted on any further development. Stay posted for additional pics of our recent activities.

I am glad to not only finally get on the blog, but also be the first to comment! Yeah!
Also, as far as the football (and all other sports), just enjoy the time you have left E, cuz all you are watching over there (when you go to bars and whatnot) all you are gonna be watching is football (the international kind). Talk to y'all soon.
