Happy Halloween

Well it is Ethan here, I am at work and I just had my BAD class and it was pretty rough but it's over now, YEAH!!!! Hope you all had a wonderfully spooky day in the minst of the living and dead. At my school, the kids made masks and it went well, pretty low key. At Maria's school on the other hand had a haunted house and the kids were pretty freaked out. I think we will try and get pictures from that so you can see. Maria wore a witch costume and I did not get dressed up. I think it might have been my first Halloween without a costume but who needs it to be Oct 31 to wear a costume, you know what I mean.
Last weekend Maria and I chilled out and did not do much. We still are trying to get rid of this cold, it has been a hard one to shake for the both of us. It is really nice I get to listen to music in the teachers loge and I found music on the enternet. deezer.com you can listen to any band that they have on file, so I am listening to the counting crows and it is really nice. Check it out. Well if you have not heard SKYPE is the truth and everyone in this world should have it! Wait ... then it would probably crash all of the time, never mind that statement, just the people that we know in the world. Free talking you just need internet + computer + headset + free Skype download = FREE CALLS!!!! Well that is skype to skype but still pretty crazy. I guess I say crazy alot and the other day my director asked me, "Do people in America say crazy alot?" I said I don't think so it is just me.
Well one more day before the weekend and we all look forward to those anywhere in the world. The kids go to school on Saturdays for a half day so on Mondays when I ask, "How was your weekend?" I change it to, "How was your Sunday?" because it is more accurate. Yeah they are pretty crazy, they work to much, they need to chill alittle more for my liking. It is nice I get teacher planning periods but I finish my lesson plans in like 45 minutes so that is why I am able to write to you. This weekend the soccer club that I joined is have a charity tournament for the local orphanage in Gwangju so that should be cool, it's on Saturday. Sunday I think Maria and I are going hiking so that we can catch the leaves before they are all off. I am looking forward to getting back into the woods, it has been to long. I think after this experience I am going to need alot of trees, fresh air, and seclusion from the city. But it has really been great. Everyday I can't believe that I am in South Korea. It is pretty great that we have the opportunity to do this and if you told me I would be in South Korea teaching English three years ago I probably would not believe you. I miss home I am not going to lie, I think not getting my sports fix is getting to me. I have this twitch in my eye and I have had it for the past three days and I think it is from a lack of football. If anyone would be willing to get a webcam and put it front of the TV for a game or the whole season I think that my eye twitch would be cured. I don't have time to do a sports update but last week was great in college football and the game to watch this week is Arizona State vs. Oregon. I got Oregon winning. If you did not know the patriots are play the colts that should be the game to watch and I would not mind if someone put a webcam on that one. Just throwing that out there. Well got to run I have to teach a class. Sorry for the Grammatical errors once again. PEACE e

Dude, sorry to hear about the sports twitch in the eye. You kind of had that already, though. ;-o

Maybe I can skype-relay a game sometime soon. That would be so weird it might be worth a try. We'll talk.

Hey guys ... I figured I've read the blog so many times it's time to post a comment! Glad to hear you had a great halloween - our kids dressed up crazy this year! Jason sported the chops and leather jacket look and I had my poodle skirt from high school that took both of us straight back to the 50's. Hope you guys caught the colors and enjoyed some time out in the woods. We've planned a camping trip in December when we're done with the basement!!! Great to hear from you the other day - we plan on getting phone / cable / internet this next week at home. Big step, eh? Love you guys and be safe - Elodie
